International Bird Rescue Open House

Join us at this family-friendly event offering a rare, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the daily life of International Bird Rescue’s Los Angeles Wildlife Center in San Pedro, CA. At this August 3rd open house you’ll get a chance to see for yourself how we care for the birds you know and love, meet our dedicated rehabilitation staff and learn about our work as global leaders in emergency rescue and response. We’ll be offering a demonstration of how we actually clean oiled birds (yes, we really do use Dawn dish soap!). We’ll also have education stations detailing different types of bird diets, teaching us about marine debris, and a craft table for the kids.
