Elise Swanson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce and represents more than 430 member businesses and organizations.
Under her leadership, the Chamber has developed a strong state, local, and federal legislative advocacy program that supports businesses, and contributed to public-private partnerships to leverage economic development in the community.
Ms. Swanson is currently a member of Biz-Fed and the South Bay Association of Chambers of Commerce, serves on the Coastal San Pedro Planning & Land Use Committee and the Joint San Pedro Neighborhood Councils Planning and Land Use Committees. She has served on the City of Los Angeles' Small Business Commission, Councilman Joe Buscaino's San Pedro Task Force on Homelessness, the Gang Alternative Program's Board of Directors, and was a member of the Port of Los Angeles Charter High School Board of Trustees. Prior to joining the Chamber, Swanson served as District Director for Congresswoman Janice Hahn.
