41st Annual Spirit of San Pedro Holiday Parade
The San Pedro Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the
1st Annual Spirit of San Pedro Holiday Parade
Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 pmEach year, this festive tradition brings families, little leagues, scouts, students, high school bands, equestrian units, and volunteers to downtown San Pedro to celebrate the holiday season and our community. More than 9,000 individuals will line the streets to view the parade.
The parade takes place in downtown San Pedro and will kick-off at 13th and Pacific Avenue, and head north on Pacific, turn right on 6th Street and head east to Palos Verdes Street. It will include Community Grand Marshal and Honorary Mayor Pam Costa, CA State Senator Steve Bradford, Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, and Los Angeles City Councilman Joe Buscaino.
Parade highlights include: “Timmy the Duck,” Providence Aztec Dancers, Folklorico Dancers, San Pedro High School Golden Pirate Regiment Band, Carson High School Marching Blue Thunder, Carson Cheer Stars and the South Bay Divas. Two equestrian units are participating: Charros de Zacatecas, and Charros de Compton. There are more than 85 parade marching down the parade route this year for your enjoyment.

Street closures and no parking enforcement along the route and in the staging areas will begin Sunday, December 5 at 6:00 am for the safety and security of parade participants. The parade staging area is closed to vehicular access on parade day from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. The effected streets will be 13th to 19th Streets from Grand Avenue to Mesa. The parade route running north on Pacific Avenue from 19th to 6th Street and from 6th Street running east to Palos Verdes will be closed to vehicular access as well.
