The tales are timeless, the admission ticketless, and the experience priceless.
A shattered young Hamlet returns to Elsinore to attend his father’s funeral and his mother’s marriage to his uncle. A harrowing encounter with his father’s ghost informs him that something is rotten in the state of Denmark, and Hamlet is propelled down a perilous path of murder, madness and revenge. But when holding the mirror up to nature, who can he trust? Shakespeare’s enduring masterpiece returns to the festival in 2023. Directed by Stephanie Coltrin.
