Small businesses are a key part of local economies and infrastructure. Our Small Business Development Project supports small business owners through legal representation and educational resources. We partner with the County and City of Los Angeles, business community groups, and economic development organizations to provide education, resources, and one-on-one legal assistance. Additionally, our Small Business Legal Academy teaches owners about forming a business, leasing commercial space, understanding contracts, fair employee practices, protecting their intellectual property, and more.
