Women's History Month Celebration!
The San Pedro Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating Women’s History Month honoring women who have made significant contributions to our community on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the Dalmatian American Club from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Women's History Month traces its beginnings back to 1911, to the First International Women’s Day. In 1980, President Carter, issued a proclamation creating an official Women’s History Week and in 1987, recognizing the outstanding contributions of women to our nation’s history, Congress established March as the official Women’s History Month. Each year, the President of the United States issues the official annual proclamation proclaiming March as National Women’s History Month. The San Pedro Chamber looks forward each year to joining in the celebration.
To submit a nomination for a deserving individual, please submit the form with a detailed description on why your candidate should be honored. Also, please provide a photo and contact information for your candidate. Submissions are due by January 31, 2025 at the close of business: http://www.sanpedrochamber.com/form/view/35306
Parking: Parking is available is CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles located at 112 E. 22nd Street, and the Red Trolley will take you up to the Dalmatian American Club. The Trolley will run continuously from 4:45 pm to 9:00 pm.Women's History Month Celebration!Date and Time
